Peter has been connected with photography over fifty years now, from taking images in Britain and on the continent Europe on his push bike, back in the fifties. In 1971 he joined a photographic club which changed his mind completely about taking images. How we take images, how do we judge an images how we present images, and everybody having a different view point to that one.

In 1990 he joined the RPS and gained his LRPS in 1992. He then helped to setup the RPS Creative group as a founder member, which he is still a member of. He gained his ARPS in 1994, with a new private invention called CREATIVE PHOTOGRAPHIC PRINTING EASEL (this became Photographic Apparatus for the Patent office, having gained patent certificate in Sept 1998).

In 1996 gaining his Fellowship in Contemporary Class. In the last ten years he has been on the committee of the East Midlands Region assisting in running the region's events. He was involved in the pilot for Images of England Project back in 1996 and is still heavily engaged with the Project taking images of our National heritage.
